NPG – Inspiring People

Restore London are hugely excited to be part of a very special refurbishment & adaption project at the Grade I Listed National Portrait Gallery working as Specialist Historic Fabric Contractors to Gilbert Ash. The Gallery is currently undertaking its biggest redevelopment since 1896 and the ‘Inspiring People’ project will see a significant refurbishment of the building, enhancing The Gallery’s visibility and accessibility by creating new visitor entrances amongst other enhancements. Jamie Fobert Architects are leading the design alongside historic specialists Purcell.

We look forward to sharing the story of our works on this iconic project alongside the big reveal in 2023 when The Gallery will reopen to the public.

In the meantime, you can take a look at part of the works that are underway in this short video NPG – New Entrance Video
