High Street, Kensington

Restore London successfully tendered and won the façade repair and restoration works on the High Street Kensington refurbishment Project. Our remit was predominantly to carefully salvage and piece together the removed features of this beautiful brick and stone building.

Initially Restore London’s Management team researched the existing materials and using their in-house library and records found identical matches for both the brick and stone

The retained elements were dry laid and the resultant details transposed onto a working drawing by our Stone Masons, new bricks and stones were measured and ordered as required.

Our Structural Engineer then designed and provided fixings and bracketry to ensure the structures were integrated correctly in to the new façades adequately.

Our craft team re-built the pediments, Porticos and features in line with the original façades – flawlessly matching new with old.
