The Ampersand

In the heart of London’s Soho district the Restore London team cleaned, repaired and restored the Oxford Street façade dating from 1885 and revamped the other façades built later on this iconic redevelopment which involved a multi-million pound “cut and carve” refurbishment of the existing mixed use office block.

Our specialist package involved new stone cladding and the take down and rebuilding of traditional stone arches, extensive cleaning of the façades was also carried out. As the scheme involves demolishing the top floor of the building, carrying out structural alterations to the remaining structure, then installing a new three story structural steel frame. We had to match in stone and brick repairs as required.
