Victoria Island

Restore London were initially selected by TFL to carry out investigation & surveying works to establish the cause of cracking & movement within the stone masonry entablature. Working closely with the professional team we developed a removal/ replacement & waterproofing scheme which addressed all defects & a completion date which coincided with the opening of the restaurants.

Our team liaised with Try Market Halls throughout & benefitted from a harmonious & collaborative approach, culminating in nomination for 2019 – Restaurant & Bar Design Awards / UK Heritage Building. Large decorative Portland stone units were removed including voussoir, key and wreath stones in order to treat the dilapidated steel frame substrate. The stones were lovingly replicated exactly by our Banker Masons. Other works included Lead dressings, glazed brickwork, general restoration and decorations to the facades.
