This five-storey, natural stone new build façade install for a well-known High Street brand in the heart of the West End has exceeded all expectations. Restore London were appointed as Specialist Sub-Contractors to construct a completely new Portland Stone Facade in Oxford Street, London. Having worked successfully with our supply chain for the last 20 years including Harrison & Goldman (engineering & design partners), Stainless Steel Fixings (bracketry & fixing supply) & Ranco (one of our preferred natural stone suppliers) – we were confident that we had assembled a winning team for the project & so it proved. Working closely with H&G we were able to provide our Client with a bespoke, highly innovative stainless steel sub-structure system that allowed both the support & restraint of the new 75mm Jordan’s Whitbed stone to what is a relatively light-weight structure.
Our onsite team quickly implemented a robust quality control regime, using our bespoke Project Management software, making for a fast tracked well sequenced install of the natural stonework. Restore London once again have proved their status as a leading stone installer from initial samples, to mock ups through to expert logistical solutions & quality control.
The beauty of the finished facade belies the highly complex design beneath & we are delighted to have been able to assist our Client with this technically demanding scheme.
